Good news! Every student at your child's school will receive free breakfast and lunch this year without any paperwork. If all of your children attend the same school, there's no need to fill out a Free School Meal application.
However, you may still need to fill out an application if you have other children at different MCPS schools. Type in any other school above to see if you still need to fill out an application for your children attending that school.
Good news! You automatically qualify for Free School Meals. You should not have to complete any additional paperwork for your child to be able to receive free breakfast and lunch in school.
You should receive a letter from MCPS in the mail confirming that you automatically qualified for Free School Meals.
You are also eligible for a $40 school supply reimbursement from us here at Ready For School Initiative. Once you receive your letter of eligibility in the mail, you can let us know to receive your reimbursement.
If your household makes less than
a year, than every student in your household qualifies for Free School Meals.
Once you complete the official MCPS Free School Meals application here, your children will be able to receive free breakfast and lunch in their schools. If you have any questions about the application, you can call Montgomery County Public Schools directly at 240-740-7400.
After you complete the form and receive your eligibility letter in the mail from MCPS, you can claim a $40 school supply reimbursement from us here at the Ready For School Initiative!
